FEMA Elevation Certificates - Flood Cert's

FEMA Elevation Certificates, aka Flood Cert's; FEMA Letter of Map Amendment, aka (LOMAs); FEMA Letters of Map Revision, aka (LOMR-F's); can be done to save you flood insurance costs if you are on the edge of a flood zone. We will take the elevations required and file them according to the current FEMA Elevation Certificate instructions/form. See more regarding the specific services below.

FEMA Elevation Certificate - aka Flood Cert

FEMA Elevation Certificates, aka Flood Cert's, can save you on flood insurance costs if you are on the edge of a flood zone. FEMA charges no fee for an Elevation Certification Application. FEMA understands that the way the maps were created, there can be a question in some areas regarding the actual elevation of a house or structure relative to the calculated flood elevation. That is why they allow a person to certify that their residence, even though their property may be on or near a flood zone, is not in the flood zone itself.

We will determine the elevations, latitude and longitude required and file them according to the current FEMA Elevation Certificate instructions/form. (current copy of FEMA Elevation Certificate Instructions and Form) After the certification is acknowledged by FEMA, you may enjoy a lower cost for your homeowners insurance. The amount you save could cover the cost of the Elevation Certificate in a single year's cost of flood insurance.

FEMA Letter of Map Amendment - (LOMA)

FEMA Letters of Map Amendments, aka (LOMAs), can remove your property from a projected flood zone. FEMA charges no fee for a Letter of Map Amendment application. FEMA understands that the way the maps were created, there can be a question in some areas regarding the actual elevation of a house or structure relative to the calculated flood elevation. When creating the maps over such a large area, FEMA could not be expected to get exact detail on every edge of the zones for the entire United States. That is why they allow a person to certify that their property, although it may be on the fringe of a flood zone, is not in the flood zone itself.

We will determine the elevations, latitude and longitude required and file them according to the current FEMA MT-EZ instructions/form. (current copy of FEMA MT-EZ Letter of Map Amendment Form and Instructions). Getting a LOMA for your property can be an inexpensive way to add value to your property. It could possibly save you in costs and time when trying to improve your property. The municipalities reviewing construction projects, rightfully so, must carry higher standards when reviewing properties being designated as in a flood zone.

FEMA Letter of Map Revision - (LOMR-F)

FEMA Letters of Map Revision, aka (LOMR-F's), can be done to remove your property from a projected flood zone after, or while planning, to add fill to your property. FEMA will accept raising the properties elevation as a method of removing it from a flood zone. FEMA does have fees for the Letter of Map Revision application.

We will determine the elevations, latitude and longitude required and file them according to the current FEMA MT1 instructions/form. (current copy of FEMA MT1 Letter of Map Revision Form and Instructions). Getting a LOMR-F for your property can be more expensive than that of the LOMA however, it can still add value to your property.
